Fischer Paper Products is a convertor of specialty, pinch-bottom paper bags, headquartered in Antioch, Illinois. We have been printing and producing bags for over 30 years now. Currently, we produce over one billion bags annually for a variety of diversified customers throughout North America.

William A. Fischer founded Fischer Paper Products in 1972 with only two employees. As with any enterprise that is started from scratch, the company was not an "overnight success," but rather a series of small but signifigant successes. As the company grew, profits provided the capital used to acquire better equipment, higher speed machines, and multicolor presses. Fischer Paper attracted knowledgeable production personnel capable of operating the equipment to its fullest capabilities.

While Fischer Paper was achieving a solid reputation on the strength of their line of stock items, it was also building an even bigger name with our special print capabilities. In the years that followed, we began to slowly expand, adding newer and better bag machines, and upgrading our print capabilities. Marketing expanded to new areas of use: industrial, pharmacy, retail, hotel amenity, and photo negative bags. To meet the company’s need to promote its special print capabilities, a commitment was made to establish a full-time, direct sales force. We currently maintain in-house sales staff, as well as outside sales representatives. Judie Prasil serves the upper Midwest, Thomas Brown the Northeast and West, and Mike Love the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.

Fischer Paper Products has had 30 years of growth, expanding its physical operations, sales, and production personnel, and has still maintained the feel of a "family business." Upon William A. Fischer’s retirement in 1999, Benno C. Fischer took over as the company’s president. William C. Fischer is now the company’s vice president.
